Stepped on belt buckle?

I stepped on a belt buckle last night...and rinsed it out with rubbing alchohol.





Today it hurts to apply pressure...and one of my toes hurts to move.





Is this from walking funny? Should i just keep a bandaid on it and wash it out everyday...or should i go to a doctor?

I would just keep an eye on it. If it gets worse go to the doctor. I stepped on a piece of glass about 2 weeks ago. It went all the way in and It was sore like your injury. I was fine after a while though. Maybe you%26#039;ll get lucky and it won%26#039;t get infected.
Reply:Where on your foot did you step on the buckle? Did it penetrate your foot? If you stepped on it with the flat part of your foot, it is probably just sore; keep it clean and bandaged. If it penetrated, you need to see a doctor to get a tetanus shot, and to make sure you didnt damage any ligaments or muscles.
Reply:If your saying that part of the buckle went into your foot, I suppose it could have caused nerve damage. I would say keep it extra clean and dry, put on an antibiotic ointment and see how it goes. Or, you could call your doctors office and they can tell you if they think you should go in.

Since you are walking funny it will make your foot sorer so try walk as normally as possible.


Wait a day, if your foot gets worse then go to the doctor.
