How can I get my backpack buckle to stop squeaking?

I have a new eddie bauer backpack that is great, except for the fact that the buckle squeaks with ever step I take. Is there something I can spray on the buckle to stop it from squeaking?

Just a tiny bit of silicone spray or powder will do the trick. If you don%26#039;t have any on hand, WD40 will work just as well.!
Reply:use some cooking spray if you have any....
Reply:WD-40 is of course your best bet. But if unhandy reach for your nearest lubricant and generously apply to the affected %26quot;squeaky%26quot; area and apply more as needed.
Reply:a little shot of WD-40
Reply:WD40 - unsqueaks anything
Reply:slap some of dat der hog grease on that baby... a little butter or crisco might just do the job!
Reply:Try rubbing soap on the bits that squeak.
Reply:WD-40
Reply:Steps

Remove the orthotic insert from your shoe.

Sprinkle foot powder inside your shoe.

Rub the foot powder around your shoe in the area the hard plastic contacts the nylon or leather.

Insert the orthotic in the shoe and walk around on it. If the sound is gone, you%26#039;re all set. If the noise is still there, proceed to the next step.

Remove the orthotic from your shoe again, and rub hand lotion on the hard plastic of the insert.

Place the orthotic back in your shoe, and walk quietly!
Reply:Try WD 40 Works out all squeaks.
Reply:WD-40,...I%26#039;m not kidding
Reply:wd40
Reply:Duct tape. I escaped Cambodia in a canoe made only of duct tape and sausage. Duct tape.
Reply:WD-40... just a couple of drops. It%26#039;s not oil, so it won%26#039;t stain... it%26#039;s a Silicon spray and should last a long time.
