How do you buckle a D-Ring belt? (One with two rings)?

You know those belts that come with cargo pants? Its a cloth belt attached at one end with just two copper rings that just hang loose... I am CLUELESS as to how to get this belt to tie... It just falls loose every time. Help!

How do you buckle a D-Ring belt? (One with two rings)?
Put the cloth through both of the rings and then take the piece of cloth and feed it back through the first ring (being sure to go over the second ring.)
Reply:I don't have one handy, but I think this is the way:

Outer ring: the ring closest to the "buckle" end of the belt.

Inner ring: for lack of a better definition, the "other ring".

- Pull the end of the belt through both rings.

- Pull the belt as tight as you want it.

- Pass the end of the belt back over the top of the inner ring.

- Putting the end of the belt between the two rings, pass it through the middle of the outer ring.

- Pull tight.

Hope I'm right. If that doesn't work, use your regular belt. ;-)
Reply:Put the belt through both rings separate rings put belt back through between the rings.
