Buckle up, Its the law?

If we get a fine for not having our seat belts on then why is it that Millions of children go to school each day on a bus without a seatbelt. Shouldnt they put seat belts on school busses so our children are safe going to school? Or is it just a way for the government to get more money from people?

Buckle up, Its the law?
Your very right....It's actually kinda of funny not funny in a ha ha way but in your face kind of fun ...well more like a itch slap because a lot of things are said and not done and a lot of rules apply to you one day and not the next. Believe me I just had an accident and the cop that went to make the report was dumber than my dog...let me tell you my dog is pretty smart compared to him....I know more about the law lol...I mean you go to school and you learn about how everything is suppose to work whats right and wrong and then you get out in the real world and people are just contradicting each other and being hyprocrites.....As much as America is a better place than most...it is also very bad off when it comes to some things...this being one of them...Appparently they say that seat belts in school buses are even more dangerous than buses without seat belts ...go figure! It's just crazy!
Reply:You're right... and it's true for public transport buses, too. It seems so strange that people would endanger our lives on either of these.
Reply:Go figure.
Reply:Reminds me of the other question I saw earlier:

Dont drink and drive unless your on a H-D
Reply:the federal "click it or ticket" campaign is a way to bypass a lot of the states laws on illegal search and seizure. an officer can now pull you over based on that alone. as well as set up "seat belt checkpoints" to enforce the law. a lot of state constitutions do not allow for these checkpoints because of the lack of "probable cause". that's my opinion.
Reply:yea damn kids!!!!!
Reply:Very good question!
Reply:Basically, seatbelt laws are primarily the result of heavy lobbying by insurance companies, that have to pay out less money if people always wear seatbelts. Second, and a major reason the government enforces the laws, is it is a very easy hundred bucks or so a pop if the catch you without your seatbelt. School busses don't have them because due to the huge difference in body size and body type of various children, it is actually safer for them to NOT be belted than for them to be wearing a belt that does not fit, and it is impossible to have correctly sized belts for every child who rides every bus.
Reply:School bus entirely different. It is having limited speed.

But your car can go with varying speeds
